Polillo Port operates under a shallow draft limitation of approximately four meters, preventing conventional deep-draft cargo vessels from safely berthing. JLTCB selected shallow-draft vessels capable of transporting oversized equipment directly to the island while maintaining operational safety and cargo integrity.
