Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting and Financial Management
- Oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records.
2. Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and file tax returns and statutory reports.
- Monitor tax exposures and recommend tax-saving strategies.
- Handle tax assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
3. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Analyze profitability, operational costs, and financial performance.
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
4. Internal Controls and Process Improvement
- Develop and implement internal control systems.
- Review financial processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and financial governance.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives.
5. Management Support
- Present financial reports and recommendations to management.
- Support strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Experience Requirements
- With 3–5 years accounting experience is an advantage
- Experience in logistics, customs brokerage, or service industries is preferred.
- Supervisory experience is an advantage.
