Key Responsibilities
- Execute customs clearance and cargo release activities at ports, terminals, airports, and customs offices.
- Submit, process, and monitor customs documents, permits, gate passes, and shipment release requirements.
- Coordinate directly with Bureau of Customs personnel, examiners, assessors, and port authorities regarding shipment processing.
- Monitor customs examinations, inspections, assessments, and shipment release activities.
- Ensure timely processing and release of shipments within operational timelines.
- Coordinate with Declarant Team regarding customs entry details, declarations, and shipment requirements.
- Coordinate with Logistics Coordination Team regarding shipment status, billing, and operational schedules.
- Coordinate with Truck Dispatcher regarding cargo release schedules and delivery preparation.
- Monitor field operational activities including:
- Customs examinations
- Cargo release
- Port processing
- Gate pass processing
- Shipment endorsements
- Assist in handling shipment discrepancies, customs queries, inspections, and operational issues.
- Provide real-time operational and shipment status updates to supervisors and operational teams.
- Ensure proper turnover and endorsement of released shipments for delivery operations.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, shipment processing, and release documentation.
- Escalate shipment delays, customs issues, discrepancies, and operational concerns to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, company procedures, and operational standards.
- Support process improvement and workflow compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration or related field.
- Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage but not required.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in customs brokerage, customs clearance, field operations, or port processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and port operations is an advantage.
