Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end operational monitoring of assigned shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Monitor shipment milestones including booking confirmation, ETD, ATD, ETA, manifest validation, cargo discharge, and cargo release.
- Review and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits, and supporting operational requirements.
- Ensure shipment readiness prior to customs clearance processing.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, agents, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding shipment status and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely acquisition of destination charges, billing requirements, and release documents.
- Monitor shipment deadlines including storage, detention, demurrage, abandonment, and container return schedules.
- Coordinate with Declarant Team regarding customs entry processing and clearance requirements.
- Coordinate with Regulatory & Compliance Affairs Team regarding permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee delivery preparation activities including gate pass processing, CRO/DO coordination, trucking schedules, and delivery instructions.
- Coordinate with Customs Broker Representatives (CBRs) and Truck Dispatcher regarding cargo release and delivery execution.
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure successful completion of delivery operations.
- Ensure proof of delivery (POD), delivery receipts (DR), and operational completion documents are properly secured and submitted.
- Prepare, review, and validate fund requests and shipment liquidation documents.
- Monitor operational risks and proactively escalate shipment delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues.
- Provide operational updates and shipment visibility reports to supervisors and management.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, timelines, and service standards.
- Participate in operational process improvement and workflow standardization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Licensed Customs Broker is preferred
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in customs brokerage, logistics coordination, freight forwarding, or operational monitoring.
- Experience handling end-to-end shipment coordination and operational execution is preferred.
