Key Responsibilities
- Process applications, renewals, amendments, and monitoring of permits, licenses, and accreditations.
- Ensure compliance with requirements of government agencies including:
- Bureau of Customs (BOC)
- PEZA
- FDA
- Department of Agriculture (DA) and other regulatory agencies
- Review and validate completeness and accuracy of regulatory applications and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with clients regarding documentary requirements and compliance obligations.
- Coordinate with government agencies regarding application processing, approvals, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor validity, expiration, and renewal schedules of client licenses and permits.
- Ensure shipments have valid permits and regulatory clearances prior to customs processing.
- Coordinate with Logistics Coordination Team and Declarant Team regarding shipment-related permit requirements.
- Handle complex regulatory cases, discrepancies, and compliance concerns.
- Monitor processing timelines and escalate delays, risks, and operational concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, applications, and regulatory monitoring reports.
- Prepare operational and regulatory compliance reports.
- Provide guidance and support to Junior Regulatory and Compliance Affairs Specialists.
- Assist in process improvement and workflow standardization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, Legal Management, Business Administration, Political Science, or related field.
- Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, customs compliance, or government processing operations.
- Experience handling import/export regulatory requirements is preferred.
