Key Responsibilities
- Generate, qualify, and manage leads for customs brokerage, import/export clearance, freight forwarding, permits, and other logistics-related services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, proper follow-ups, and professional account handling.
- Prepare, coordinate, and monitor quotations, client requirements, shipment details, and service proposals accurately and in a timely manner.
- Achieve monthly sales targets, including new client acquisition, closed deals, revenue goals, and other assigned KPI requirements.
- Coordinate closely with other department teams to ensure smooth client turnover and service execution.
- Maintain accurate and updated CRM/database records, including client journey, quotation status, follow-up dates, call logs, and sales progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- With 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, import/export, or other B2B service industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of customs clearance, import/export procedures, permits, licenses, shipping, and logistics documentation is an advantage.
- Goal-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and able to work under sales targets, deadlines, and fast-paced business requirements.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and basic sales reporting tools.
